When describing a Toyota Land Cruiser, adjectives such as tough, durable and unstoppable come to mind. Tuning company NSV Dubai decided to take the last adjective to next level by giving the 4WD Land Cruiser an extra set of drive wheels.
Rolling out of the production line as a Land Cruiser Double Cab model, NSV Dubai lifted and beefed up the suspension, gave it off-road tires and lengthened the bed to accommodate the extra pair of wheels. The result is a Land Cruiser 70 Series made even more capable. The 6×6 Land Cruiser is also available as a Single Cab (2-door) model which features even a longer bed. For those looking for a tough utility truck, the lowest payload rating on this six-wheeled Land Cruiser is rated at 3,000 kilograms.
The standard engine offered on the 6×6 Land Cruiser is the 4.0 liter V6 engine found in the FJ Cruiser but the folks at NSV Dubai didn’t leave it stock for long. Now sporting a supercharger, the 1GR-FE now puts out 405 PS and 494 Nm of torque. It can also be equipped with the 4.5 liter turbodiesel V8 and both engines can be mated to a five speed manual or a six speed automatic.
