Chevrolet, the Official MVP Vehicle of Super Bowl XLIX, made a great marketing move by driving up a 2015 Colorado Z71 on the field and handing MVP Tom Brady the keys at the end of the game.
Brady’s brand new 2015 Chevrolet Colorado Z71 is engineered to be the most capable, most versatile and most technologically advanced midsize truck in the market. It comes with a 3.6L V6 pumping out class-leading 309PS and 364 Nm of torque, a 4G LTE built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, 8-inch color touch radio screen with MyLink and a host of safety features including Rear Vision Camera.
Brady led the Patriots to a win over the defending champion Seahawks 28-24 but it was the steal by undrafted rookie Malcolm Butler who was shedding tears of joy at the sidelines who sealed the deal with 20 seconds remaining in the game.
“The Chevy Colorado, like Tom Brady, is truly a game changer,” said Paul Edwards, U.S. vice president, Chevrolet Marketing.
The Super Bowl MVP receives the Pete Rozelle Trophy, a silver trophy made by Tiffany & Co., and the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado.
Thing is, Tom Brady already owns a host of luxury cars including an Audi R8, a Range Rover and a Rolls-Royce Ghost. What’s a 6’3” four-time Super Bowl champion, mega-millionaire gonna do with the Americans call a ‘small truck’?
Well this ain’t rocket science. Reward the young kid Butler who stole what could have been a touchdown pass by Seattle’s Russell Wilson by giving him the Colorado. The kid only makes the league minimum so a gesture like this is going to go a long, long way.
Did you see the game? I’m sure that pick will be immortalized on YouTube so take a peek and tell us if that steal is worth a 2015 Chevy Colorado Z71.
