Police officers of the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) in Maryland were on their regular patrol routine when they spotted something odd. A black Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder with a Batman logo rear plate driven by… Batman!
Under suspicion, the police officers decide to pull over the Lamborghini ‘Batmobile’ just to see if something was amiss. Turns out Lamborghini driving ‘Caped Crusader’ is a Baltimore County-based businessman named Lenny Robinson, who dresses up as the Dark Knight as he visits sick children in hospitals to entertain them and gives out Batman toys to help them fight cancer and other diseases.
After verifying that the car indeed had plates and registration, the police decided to call the situation safe. Lenny even offered his driver’s license for further verification but the police officer said that the license plate was good enough. Before the police let Lenny go on his superhero duties, they asked to take pictures of him beside the car, to which he gladly obliged.
Lenny even has a Facebook fan page.
Watch the MCPD dashcam footage below to see the rather awesome encounter.
